Malicious intent.

It’s delicate.
The interconnected
and overtly subtle nuances
of emotion, humanly golden
and crunching under the foot
of corporate cutouts.

And it’s as though,
to navigate yourself along a path
designed to avoid sticking pins into the arms of others,
to avoid tracking viscous black into
the living rooms
of friends and family,
is bordering on fantasy.
Unattainable.

In a world created by,
run for, and working with,
those who need it
least.
